Time Management:
Triple Your Productivity and Never Worry About Time Management Training Again

Fasten your seat belt! This is a simple time management plan that you can follow everyday and it works.

1) You wake up.You roll into your main office. MISTAKE #1. Don't go in there. Don't check your email. Don't talk on the phone. Don't exercise (you will need that later to clear your mind). Instead:

  1. Make a fruit smoothie packed with protein.
  2. Go to an area of your house with zero distractions (I have 4 such places), NOT your main office.
  3. Immediately begin working on a profit-making activity.

For instance, last night I decided I needed to make a new website. I became aware there was a segment of my demographics I was missing. I can take the same product, give it a different name, and then attack that segment. Exactly what I did.

I created a new domain name, shot 5 videos, create the entire website with 10 pages, created the opt-on forms in Aweber, linked the order page to my merchant account, and then setup my pay-per-click campaigns. I completed this all in 5 hours and had my first sale.

I did not take a break. 5 hours straight. That should be your max.

2) Now that you have knocked out that huge item (and this could be simply a morning ritual of a video, blog post, tweet, blast out to your list and an article), it's time for a break. At this point, I prefer:

  1. A walk down by the beach or trail in the mountains (for the fresh air).
  2. A heavy cardio workout with cross-training incorporated (not just a treadmill or elliptical, a mix with weights).
  3. This break can be up to 2 hours. I also grab a bite to eat.

3) Enter your main office. Now it's time for emails, Facebook, and follow up with phone calls, etc. Your attitude will be so much better because you've already accomplished so much. After that, take a second smaller break of an hour. Walk your dog. Spend some time with the kids.

4) Continuing education. The last part of my day is for education. Now this time management secret will blow you away. Where do I do it? I do it in my car. I drive about ten minutes to a lake in a State Park. I have a great view of the water and the internet access is free (California State Parks are WiFi spots). If you have audio courses, put them on your iPod. If you have a kayak, row down the lake with your iPod listening to them (this is how I listened to all my studies in law school). Your mental absorption rate is maximized. You are totally focused.
