Time Management:
Time Management Workshop to Stop Procrastinating and Start Achieving

If you have ever suffered from any kind of procrastination in your life and are truly honest with yourself, you will know how it has prevented you from the things that in your heart, you know you should have accomplished. From the simple everyday tasks, to the possible life changing events in your life, why do we accept this limitation to our lives. It is never too late to stop procrastinating and start achieving.

How many times have you had to make that important telephone call and decided to have one more cup of coffee or knowing you need to finally start that project that you have putting off for so long, but still have the time to tidy your desk. In the time you have been procrastinating, you could have completed many tasks many times over. It has been said that procrastination is the enemy of success and it sure doesn't help you in achieving anything worthwhile.

Try a little experiment with how much time you waste on meaningless and mundane tasks each and every day. Get yourself a small notepad and monitor yourself doing these worthless tasks for just a week. Be totally honest when you do this and I think you will be surprised by the results. Seeing this in black and white might just make you realise that your time could be better spent on more productive tasks and bring haste in your decision to stop procrastinating and start achieving.

With all that said though, there is also good procrastination and that is the one we all enjoy, without the need to achieve and improve our lives. It might be taking part in our favourite hobby, spending time with our family and friends, taking that well earned family holiday or just plain relaxing and basically doing nothing except kicking off our shoes.

It is up to the individual in how they spend their life and for some procrastination is a way of life. But for others it is just something that gets in the way of progress and sometimes it is an habit that some are not even aware of. For those, it is time to stop procrastinating and start achieving by being conscious of the actions that will determine by which path they ultimately take. It all starts by facing up to the tasks that you know need to be completed and while at first they may seem uncomfortable, once completed, you will then face procrastination with a totally different perspective.
