Time Management Training Seminar:
Time Is The Stuff Life Is Made Of

"Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of." - Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) American statesman, scientist and writer

Time is the ONLY thing that is equal in Life!

Read the foregoing statement again and you will see just how true it is. People say that all men are created equal (women too) but there is always an advantage to be had, be it social, economical or physical. That's what make us different, everyone is different and unique, no one has the same chemical makeup, no one has the same up-bringing, no one has the same experiences or the same interpretations of those experiences. This is what makes us individuals!

The only thing that is the same is TIME!

We each have 24 hours in each day, how we choose to spend those hours determines our life experiences. The rich person driving the nice cars and living in extravagant homes has the same number of hours to work with as the homeless person living under a bridge.

The person who seems to have it all has made different decisions and made different use of their time.

So what do you do with your time?

Do you even know?

Try this, for one week note everything that you do every day in fifteen minute intervals. At the end of the week add up all the times spent doing the same activities. Add up all the time you spent on the phone, all the time watching television, all the time spent on Facebook and surfing the internet, sleeping, eating, checking emails, reading, educating yourself, working toward your goals, working at your job, enjoying your significant other or your kids.

Take notice of what you spend the most time doing, take notice of idle activities where you really are not accomplishing anything. Now if you are fortunate enough to be where you want to be in life and you are completely happy with everything that you have any you want nothing more...then congratulations you are living your dreams. BUT if you find yourself struggling to get by, or you are not living an extraordinary life, look at where you spend your time.

Remember the rich, successful person has one thing in common with the laggard on the street...TIME!

What you choose to do with your time will determine which category you end up in. This is not to say that you should be working all day every day, but take notice of the exercise above as to where you can eliminate an hour or two of non-productive and do something that pushes you in the direction of your dreams.

If can find a hour, or two or three each week, not to mention maybe an hour each day, should we skip a simple television show! Think of all the time that would return to you, to do something worth doing. If you are not where you want to be and these seem like harsh words, then learn to be happy staying where you are.

Should you find that extra hour each day, you will have discovered an extra 365 hours each year to grow yourself and create the life you deserve to have. Spend your extra hour, bettering yourself, enjoying your family more, becoming more successful.

In doing this myself, I have found an hour and a half each day that I have committed to reading and writing. In doing this I know that some days I won't get to writing but, my goal is to write at least 5 articles each week on what I have learned or am inspired by my readings. I read books from authors like Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Jeffery Gitomer, Michael Gerber and other authors that write about success, marketing, sales and business.

If you are not willing to change and make the most of your time, you will never get to where you dreamed you could be. Find the time, a great realization to have is one where you realize that no one is going to make you successful, no one is going to have dreams for you, and no one will get you there. It is all up to you, stop waiting for the next big thing, stop waiting for other people, start doing, get clear what you want, and find the time to start working on it now. Do something every day that puts you a little closer to the life you want to live

Time is a funny thing, it cares not what you do with it, the hands of the clock continue to turn, whether you do nothing or you build your dreams.
