Time Management:
How to Manage Your Time - Time Management Training Techniques You Can Easily Apply

"Time is money" "Time is gold" "Time flies like an arrow"

Just whatever the sayings are, they are true.

It seems that you will never have enough time in whatever you do. Possibly, if God gave you 30 hours (instead of 24) a day, it still wouldn't be enough for you. There are always things that come up so you'll end up wanting more and more.

Time is very precious. Once you "kill it", it won't be resurrected.

Sometimes, you may feel that time flies really rapidly, but at the other times you feel that time crawls that one minute feels like forever. The latter is true if you are trying to kill your time.

If you have the habits of killing your time and always never get enough of time, you should stop them.

You should apply the strategies to maximize your time so it will be productive. Try the following techniques that you can apply easily:

Technique #1 Always check your schedule when you wake up.

At the beginning of your day, review your schedule entirely. You may notice that some of your day will be busy, and some will be free. Try to distribute your activities evenly and wisely throughout the day.

After that, keep note pads that you can bring anywhere. It will help you remind your tasks and responsibilities, as well as avoid overlap activities. If you still find overlaps, try to prioritize your tasks.

If you have made a schedule, but you still feel that there are too many tasks, you need to foregone some of them. Try to reorganize and revise your schedule.

Technique #2 When asking for re-schedule, do it in advance

You should request re-schedule in advance especially if other people are going to be affected by the changes. Show Therefore, you should show good manners by doing it in advance, so they have the time to adjust with the new schedule. Requesting to reschedule in advance will help others, especially if they are also busy or have some problems as you.

Technique #3 Practice some creativity

You can use your creativity when dealing with time management. For example, when you're doing the laundry set your washing machine to do the job if you have to do something else such as go out for a while to buy groceries.

You can also use other technology to do this, such as slow cooker when you need to cook and at the same time you need to do something else. The point here is combining several tasks into one. However, any creativity would do.

Technique #4 It's OK to make mistakes

When you are doing tasks for the first time, it is normal to make mistakes. If you have some difficulties in doing your first tasks, don't think that it will mess up your day. If you have no clue on how things should be done, take time to plan it out before you take action. This will save your time, energy, and money.

Technique #5 Visualize

Visualize the results of your plans. Feel as if as your plans worked out all fine. You can also try to find some alternatives in doing your tasks while visualizing. Choose the better of two or more alternatives. If If you don't have any alternatives, do it just the same.

Some tasks may seem hard when you think about it, but not automatically when you put into action, and vice versa.

Maximize your time, and you will become wiser.
