Time Management:
Business Time Management Skills Training for Success
Most people, when they get started building an online business of their own, still have a job during the day. Their time is limited and they need to use it wisely and be productive.
Here are sometime management and accountability guidelines to help you and your team members succeed!
Accountability partners
I use this technique with all my team members. I know it's hard to keep yourself accountable when it's only you that knows when you don't do what you said you were going to do. When you have someone else asking you what you did that week, it helps keep you on task. If you are going to use this technique make sure you check in regularly with each team member as to their progress, and have someone check on you too!
Family time management
This is by far the biggest challenge most people struggle with. When you're new to business you want to do everything right now, and spend all night working and the rest of the family gets neglected. I tell new business people that whether or not their spouse is totally on board with their new venture or not, it's crucial to block out time for your undivided attention to your family.
Uninterrupted focus time management
You need your quiet time to concentrate with NO interruptions. Show your schedule to your family members and your accountability partner. Let them know this is the time you have allotted to build your business. I work in 60 min blocks of time-(50 min of work & a 10 min break).
The best advice I can give you is to work on your business time management by stopping the distractions. Remember we all have the same amount of time in a day; it's how we chose to use it that counts!
