Time Management:
3 Time Management Seminars Skills To Get More Work Done In Less Time
Have you ever had a day where you wished if you had more time in the day? I guess we all have. We are all given the same 1,440 minutes a day to achieve a massive list of tasks. The amount of tasks that you get accomplished a day is determined by one key skill - and that is time management productivity. No matter if you are a CEO or a college student, you are having the same finite 24 hours a day. Here are 3 simple time management steps that you can use to maximize what you achieve in a given day.
1. Finish the most important task in the morning
Start your work early in the morning. When possible, get in to your office early and start your work before everyone else. This will help you to concentrate better and you will get much more work done before others even start their day. Often start with the most important task for the day. Do you have a task in your face that has been bothering you for a while? Then that probably is the most important task you should finish first.
2. Practise single handling
When you start a task concentrate until you reach completion. A major cause of stress is having too many unfinished projects in our minds. After you finish a task and cross it off from your list; you will feel a sense of accomplishment. It will boost your confidence, clarify your mind and will improve concentration. Starting a task and pausing it because of another task is a massive waste of time. If you practise this time management skill daily, even for few hours, it will greatly improve your productivity.
3. Eliminate un-important tasks
With all the distractions that we face today, it is so tempting to get distracted with unimportant tasks. If you carefully analyse the projects and tasks that you are asked to completed on a daily basis, you will realize some of them can be eliminated completely without any major consequences. High performing people always eliminate non-critical tasks and they delegate tasks of lesser importance.
